In the dream I was in a classroom… in real life I go to college in a non traditional way…. Online…in the dream I was wanting to use the bathroom and (this is a reoccurring scene) but I grab a desk and bring it closer to a corner at the side of the classroom. And I sit there while other students are doing their thing. Then I pull down my pants and start peeing, and it feels so awkward but no one bats an eye. I use the bathroom and I grab toilet paper hanging by the toilet desk… trying to clean myself but it is weird and uncomfortable as I am exposed for everyone to see… and in the dream it feels normal.
Dreams about classrooms often symbolize learning, personal growth, or a desire for knowledge. Since you mentioned that you attend college online in real life, the classroom in your dream might represent a setting where you are processing your experiences, education, or social interactions.
In your dream, the repeated theme of needing to use the bathroom can be interpreted as a metaphor for a desire to relieve yourself of something—this could be stress, anxiety, expectations, or even an emotional burden related to your education or personal life. The act of pulling the desk closer to the corner indicates a need for privacy or comfort in a situation that feels exposed or vulnerable.
The fact that you feel awkward yet proceed with the act of peeing (despite being in a public space) may reflect a struggle with personal boundaries, self-acceptance, or facing uncomfortable situations in your life. The nonchalant reaction of others could signify a realization that people may not be as concerned about your vulnerabilities as you think they are. It may also suggest the idea of "normalizing" your feelings and experiences; this could be a reminder to be more comfortable with yourself in situations that feel shameful or overwhelming.
Furthermore, the difficulty you have while trying to clean yourself can symbolize challenges with self-care, expectations, or dealing with personal issues. It can also suggest a need for clarity in your life—perhaps you're trying to sort through your feelings, thoughts, or academic pressures.
Overall, this dream may encourage you to confront any insecurities or discomforts you have regarding your educational journey or your self-awareness, urging you to seek comfort in vulnerability and to recognize that it’s okay to be open about your experiences, even if they feel awkward.
